GRRM mentions auditions
George R. R. Martin confirms in his recent Not A Blog post that auditioning is currently underway. Interestingly he mentions LA as a location that they are holding auditions, as well as Ireland and London. Could this mean we may get another American actor after all? Winter Is Coming: I’m not sure what to make of this news. Perhaps Benioff and Weiss didn’t like some of the UK-based options for a certain role and wanted to look in the States as well? Or maybe they want to find those actors that live in LA but are from the UK and have an Equity membership? Someone like Sasha Jackson, for example.
