Thrones sets present in Paint Hall
We’ve gotten our first report of there being actual Game of Thrones sets being constructed in the Paint Hall. This report is via Belfast entertainment industry professional Chris Martin, who works for a company called FilmTrip. He recently had a chance to tour the Paint Hall and reported about it on his Twitter account. This is what he had to say:
On the set of #YourHighness and #GameofThrones. It looks pretty awesome. Castles complete with green screen wrap around.
In response to Ran of Westeros asking him whether the Thrones sets were separate from the Your Highness sets he responded with:
Yep set builds for #gameofthrones building in the same studio as #yourhighness. They are in separate studio cells.
Winter Is Coming: So there you go. Looks like Thrones will be using their own sets after all. This means they should be able to transition to shooting for the full season quickly, if HBO gives them the order. Which is obviously great news.
