Gemma Jackson signs on for full season

Variety has reported that production designer Gemma Jackson has been booked for the full season of Game of Thrones. Jackson, who also worked on the pilot episode, is an awarding winning production designer who was behind the design of films such as Bridget Jones’s Diary and Finding Neverland, as well as the HBO miniseries John Adams.

Winter Is Coming: Great to see they were able to retain Jackson, although I’m surprised that it even had to be done. I was under the assumption that all the crew from the pilot had it in their contracts that if the show got picked up they would be brought back for the full season. Guess not. This means that we can’t assume the rest of the stellar production crew, including Oscar-winner Robert Stromberg and fan favorite Julia Frey, will return. Hopefully they will.
