GRRM busy watching audition tapes
In his recent post, George R.R. Martin provides a busy to-do list which also includes reviewing of audition tapes:
All I have to do now is write my script for the HBO series, finish editing the new Wild Cards book FORT FREAK, write up my version of the last Suvudu cage match so Jaime doesn’t lose to Rand al’Thor, complete A DANCE WITH DRAGONS, review some of the latest audition tapes for the HBO show, approve some game art, respond to a dozen or so urgent emails and three score less urgent ones.
Hear Me Roar: More than a handful of tasks, but George seems to be in a positive and optimistic mood (being done with the tax reports helps). This is a confirmation that more is going on in the casting department than has managed to trickle down to the fan community. We expected no less, given the known production schedule. My guess is we are going to get the first batch of fresh casting news by the end of the month.
