Mo Ryan scoops new Dany

Followers of the Chicago Tribune’s Maureen Ryan on Twitter (or MoFo’s, as we’re typically known) got a nice little surprise around 5:00 ETA when she tweeted a link to her latest article: The Watcher An excerpt from the exclusive:

I can exclusively report that actress Emilia Clark has been cast in the role of the exiled noblewoman in the fantasy drama. GOT Clark appears to be a newcomer to U.S. television. There’s a profile for an “Emilia Clarke,” which may not be the actress in question, on IMDb.com. That profile lists only a British drama, “Doctors,” on “Clarke’s” resume (and my understanding is that the “Games” actress does not have an “e” on the end of her name).

Fire And Blood: Emilia Clark, eh? Will the real Emilia Clark please stand up? Chris Pierce found this Emilia Clarke (the same one from IMDB) though clearly her name has an “e” tacked on at the end. More news as it comes.

UPDATE: WiC poster Milan found this commercial starring Emilia Clarke. She reminds me of Ellen Page, a bit. Still no real idea if this is our Dany.
