Rumor: Loras cast?

HBO has had the casting locked down tight this time around, but it looks like something may have finally leaked out. Over at the Digital Spy forums a poster is claiming that British actor Finn Jones has been cast as Loras Tyrell. Jones’ largest role to date has been playing Jamie in the E4 soaps Hollyoaks and Hollyoaks Later. For now consider this an unsubstantiated rumor, although it is interesting to note that Jones recently tweeted about receiving some very good news.

Winter Is Coming: Assuming that the rumor is true, I’d say they got themselves a good Loras. Yeah, Loras was never going to be the hardest role to cast since there’s always an abundance of good-looking young actors out there dying for their big break. But based on looks alone, Jones seems like a solid choice. I’m just glad to hear that it sounds like some casting decisions are being made. Hopefully we will get some real casting news soon.
