Acharia talks Thrones in Norwegian paper

Amrita Acharia, cast to play Irri in Game of Thrones, was recently featured in an article for the Norwegian newspaper Bladet Tromsø. She talks mostly about living in Norway, but does mention Thrones in the article. Below is her quote about Thrones, thanks to Kat for the translation:

“I have filmed only one episode so far, and still haven’t met Sean Bean. He’s in a different story-line than I am, which is filmed mainly in Ireland, while the story-line I’m in is filmed in Malta. There are very many well-established as well as fresh actors, and the sets are quite enormous, so it’s incredibly exciting.”

Winter Is Coming: Good to see one of the new actors interviewed and getting a chance to promote the show. Interestingly, it sounds like Acharia may have been in the pilot? Or perhaps something was lost in translation. Or maybe they did some filming of Dany scenes somewhere in the past couple weeks. Would explain Momoa’s presence in Belfast. Either way, the report about the sets is good to hear and it sounds like she is excited about being in the show. Looking forward to hearing more about their plans for the Malta location as we get closer to filming there in Sept.
