Stills from the behind-the-scenes video

As requested, here is a post with some screen caps of the behind-the-scenes vid. These captures are courtesy of Dukayn.

The Targaryen banner – This differs from the book version which has a dragon with two legs and no arms. Not a huge difference.

Night’s Watch training – Mark Stanley as Grenn and Kit Harington as Jon Snow filming a scene of them sword fighting training. Love the training armor. Very pieced together, which is appropriate for the underfunded Night’s Watch.

Baratheon men-at-arms – Some extras sporting the Baratheon stag heraldry. Notice the “sigil on a lanyard” on the one guard. We’ve seen that before, in a leaked photo now known as “Costumegate.”

An extra donning his armor – Some fantastical looking armor here. Very Oriental looking. Some speculation this may be Dothraki armor. Or maybe even Targaryen armor, in a possible flashback scene. My guess? This is the Lannister look. Remember they once entertained the idea of giving the Lannisters curved, samurai-type swords. They ditched that idea, but I’m thinking they kept the samurai style for their armor.

Harry Lloyd as Viserys – Silver hair and all. He’s wielding what looks to be a Dothraki arakh. It looks pretty sweet.

Dothraki – A group of Dothraki riding through a field. Note that this is the field of willows that was talked about as a filming location. It seems this is the only Dany scene that has been filmed so far.

George R. R. Martin and Richard Madden as Robb – This would have been from the pilot, as GRRM has not yet visited the set since they started filming the full season.

Iain Glen as Jorah Mormont – Yup, that’s Jorah. Superb casting.

Direwolf relief – The much discussed direwolf relief from the Winterfell set at Castle Ward. Love the weirwood tree at the top of the engraving.

Watching the monitor – Owen Teale as Alliser Thorne looks on as Luke McEwan as Rast conducts his training. Don’t touch the screen.

The boys sparring – Not sure if this is Bran or Tommen. I’m guessing this is also from the pilot shoot.

Catelyn and Tyrion – Another shot through the monitor. Michelle Fairley as Catelyn looking frightened as Tyrion confronts her. This looks to be from their trip through the Mountains of the Moon.

Conan Stevens training – Conan Stevens practicing his sword fighting. He’s not wearing a shirt. Somehow I’m not surprised.

Littlefinger and Sansa at the tourney – One of my favorite shots. Sophie Turner, with her auburn hair, looks absolutely perfect as Sansa. Aidan Gillen as Littlefinger is also spot-on. I think the girl sitting to Sophie’s left is Maisie Williams.

Kit Harington as Jon Snow – Kit is looking a lot scruffier than I expected. He looks great though. This is clearly at the Mahgeramorne quarry set.

Maisie Williams and Isaac Hempstead-Wright on set – Love this shot. These two are having so much fun. And they look great as Arya and Bran! Is that Bean in the background?

Sean Bean as Ned Stark – Ned looking slightly more put together in this shot than in the ones of him at the execution. I think this might be at a meeting of the small council.

Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister – Dinklage flashing a very Tyrion-like smile. As expected, HBO didn’t really ugly him up. And his blond hair is more a light brown than “so blonde it’s almost white.” But it’s Dinklage as Tyrion. It will be awesome.

Mark Addy and Lena Headey on set – Addy and Headey relaxing between shots. Notice the styrofoam cup in Addy’s hand. Also it looks like we got a pic of our Tommen, Callum Wharry! Him and Myrcella are seated below Robert and Cersei. I think this is from the tourney.

Knight at the tourney – I think this is Ser Hugh of the Vale, but I’m not positive. Note the Baratheon stag in the background.

Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen – Emilia looking beautiful as Dany. Her eyebrows are dark. So what, she looks great. You can also see Elyes Gabel as Jhogo behind her.

The Kingsguard – This might be Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister in his Kingsguard armor. In a change from the books, this armor seems more gold than white. What will the Goldcloaks armor look like?

Lannister men-at-arms – A shot of some extras standing around on set. They look to be Lannister men, judging by the color of their costumes.

Night’s Watch extras – I think these are extras from the Night’s Watch scenes. They could also be from Winterfell. The fur definitely suggests this scene is set in the North.

Michelle Fairley as Catelyn Stark – The haters can now eat crow. Fairley looks great as Catelyn.

The Mountain that Rides – Gregor in his full armor for the tourney. Conan Stevens may or may not be under all that plate. I can’t be sure because he’s not bare-chested.

Knight of Flowers – Loras Tyrell in his tourney armor. Finn Jones was not lying when he tweeted about how unique his armor design was.

That’s all for now. Check Westeros for some great screen caps from the teaser video.
