First episode titled, plus an all-new behind-the-scenes feature?
With the calendar flipping to a new week yesterday, the week of April 17th became viewable on HBO’s schedule, which means we got our first look at the official listing for Game of Thrones. It is listed as “Game of Thrones 01” and has the title of “Winter Is Coming”. A fine title, if I do say so myself. It puts the run time at 62 minutes.
Also of interest on the schedule is a 30-minute special entitled “Making Game of Thrones”. It looks like the first time this special is set to air is on Wednesday, April 6th at 10 PM ET. The description states Delve behind the scenes of the highly anticipated HBO drama series Game of Thrones in this special featuring interviews, clips from the series, and more. I’m not certain this is entirely new, but it seems like it might be, the last behind-the-scenes special HBO aired was only 15 minutes long and was entitled “Inside Game of Thrones”. For now, circle that date on your calendar and we will let you know what to expect.
Winter Is Coming: Looks like every Sunday we can look forward to the revealing of a new episode title as the HBO schedule adds the next week to its listings. At some point, HBO will send out a press release giving official synopses of each episode as well. Keep an eye on our episode guide as we update it with the latest known info.
