Robert Pugh cast as Craster
Master and Craster!
The Hollywood Reporter announced just moments ago the casting of Welsh actor Robert Pugh in the role of Craster, friend of the Night’s Watch. His “interesting” relationship with young Gilly (Hannah Murray) is part of what makes season two so full of dramatic potential.
Pugh is a veteran stage and screen actor, probably most noted for his appearance as Mr. Allen in Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.
Fire And Blood: They just keep coming. He certainly looks Craster-ish. Can’t wait to see Kit Harington, John Bradley, and James Cosmo in scenes with newcomers Hannah Murray, Robert Pugh, and Ben Crompton.
ADDENDUM: I can also report that the role of Ser Dontos Hollard has been cast, but no name has been released as yet. Looks like Sansa gets her Florian!
