• Oona Chaplin, granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin, let it slip in a recent interview that she has a role in Game of Thrones. We’re still wondering what role she got. She’s got that Rhoynish cast, neh? Dunno if THIS Spanish interview gives any extra details. Que? UPDATE: Ran from Westeros, bless his soul, tickled some of the HBO powers-that-be with his magic ponytail and they let slip that Oona will be playing the role of Jeyne. Now if only we knew which Jeyne…

• The Hollywood Reporter has a small flurry of interviews regarding the 2011 Emmys; among their victims are David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. Check it!
• Paul Inglis, Supervising Art Director for Game of Thrones, is interviewed by Flickering Myth. He briefly talks about his work with GoT, as well as the upcoming Alien “prequel” Prometheus.

• NYMag’s The Vulture asks if Jay-Z and Kanye West’s new album “Watch the Throne” is secretly about Game of Thrones. I say thee nay! (Even though the maker of this video for “No Church in the Wild” would tend to suggest otherwise.) But hey, it’s funny to speculate that GoT could have its very own Wizard of Oz-meets-Dark Side of the Moon moment. And if you’re too young to get that reference, well, screw you.
• Looks like the Blackfish is still a non-entity in season 2, at least according to Ran at Westeros; GRRM states he’s seen all the audition tapes for every role, and has not seen any Blackfish. So more than likely we’ll see him in season 3, or season 4, or… or he’s just gonna be replaced. Quick, someone get Blackfish Blues a valium!
• Are you blue about the Blackfish? Missing The Pointy End (whose creator, apparently, only works ten weeks out of the year)? Or just in dire need of a laugh? Zombiepocalypse did a ‘Thronecentric comic to tide you over. You can thank me later.
