Quick Hits: The Pointy End, Parody, and a Podcast of Ice & Fire

Let’s start things off with a new The Pointy End comic! It contains the “exclusive” casting announcement of an “all-new character.”

Game of Thrones has been nominated in a number of different categories in Spike TV’s Scream Awards, including the top award, The Ultimate Scream. Be sure to vote for Thrones!
If you live in or around Swindon, you may want to head over to film memorabilia store Fan Favourites on Oct 1st where they will be holding a Thrones cast signing event. Current attendees are Maisie Williams (Arya), Julian Glover (Pycelle) and David Bradley (Walder Frey). More will be announced.
Writer Will Self profiles Emilia Clarke for the New York Times. The article itself is a bit strange (it sounds like he did a full interview but didn’t actually give us any quotes from Emilia?), but the photo alone is worth a click. Flawless.
