TITANCON: Going the whole hog

Okay, time to wrap up. What better way to end the TitanCon Coach Tour Sunday than with a proper medieval feast?

After an eventful day we were called away from the archery area – where I was a veritable Greyjoy, sending two of the three shafts straight to gold – to join the long queue (incidentally, this is the only English word where you can drop the last four letters and it’s still pronounced the same) for dinner, the main ingredient of which was a roasted pig.  Served in a long hall by girls in period costumes, the delicious pork, with crackling, stuffing, and veggies on the side, was a real treat.

There was time for a bunch of thank you’s (a big round of applause from us to the organisers and everyone who made TitanCan possible is in order here, we hope we presented the event well on this site, and perhaps generated additional interest for next year), some Dothraki singing by Lord Jo the Spearwife, and promises of an even bigger, even better TitanCon 2012. FaBio and I took the stage during this wrap-up improvised ceremony, and I dare say we represented WiC.net rather well. Fire And Blood: Not much more to add. The second day was as cool as the first (just wetter), and it was just a complete blast being able to hang with Kristian, Miltos, and all the Game of Thrones fans. We need to make this a yearly thing. TitanCon was freaking great.
