Season 3 trailer to premiere on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

HBO has just sent out a press release announcing that the season three trailer for Game of Thrones will premiere Friday, February 22 on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Here is a video announcement (a trailer of the trailer!) and, after the break, is the full press release.

A big fan of the series, Kimmel kicks off the countdown to the new season premiere on Sunday, March 31 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, exclusively on HBO, with the all-new 60-second trailer that will offer a first look at the action and treachery that continues in the visually stunning series that has become a pop culture phenomenon.

Winter Is Coming: The trailer is coming! And sooner than we expected too. As far as I know, this is quite unprecedented as well. HBO rarely, if ever, debuts their trailers any where other than their own channel.
