Game of Thrones nabs best drama at TCA Awards
The Television Critics Association held their annual awards ceremony last night and Game of Thrones took home the award for “Outstanding Achievement in Drama”! It beat out fellow nominees The Americans, Breaking Bad, Homeland and Mad Men. It failed to repeat as program of the year, however, losing out to Breaking Bad in that category.
Winter Is Coming: The TCA has always been a fan of Thrones and it’s nice to see that love continue. However you can’t really use this as a precursor to the Emmys as the voting bodies are totally different. Still it’s great that Game of Thrones continues to add awards to its trophy case!
