Kit Harington talks Game of Thrones, eating shark on Jimmy Kimmel Live
Kit Harington appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week to promote his new film ‘Pompeii’, but as Jimmy is an obvious fan of the HBO show, much of the talk gravitated towards Game of Thrones.
Kit opened the interview with revealing that we have his great grandfather John Harington to thank for something that we use every day – the flushable toilet. Kit admits that he always finds himself in very cold locations while filming Thrones where the locals can be a bit odd, and he recounts a funny story of the cast and crew being fed a local ‘delicacy’ of buried shark. The Thrones writers have played so many tricks on the cast that they can’t be sure if their scripted deaths are real or not, and Kit won’t reveal Jon Snow’s fate in Season 4, joking that he may already be out of a job.
Kit and Jimmy also did a funny bit in which some over zealous Game of Thrones fans in the audience, including a Hodor very much in character, attempt to ask Lord Snow some questions!
