George R.R. Martin releases new excerpt from The Winds of Winter
It’s been over two years since the latest installment of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire, and we have yet to hear any official word on how long we’ll be waiting for the next. But today, Entertainment Weekly has released an exclusive excerpt from The Winds of Winter in the form of a paragraph from a familiar character’s POV chapter.
The paragraph is a preview of the new content that will be included in the newest update to George R.R. Martin’s A World of Ice and Fire app. The update, coming in March, will bring many new character and location descriptions as well as the entire POV chapter.
If the wait has proved too long, and you simply can’t resist, check out the new paragraph at EW.Com.
Today’s excerpt marks the fourth that has been published. The first and second were released on George R.R. Martin’s official website, and the third can be found in the paperback edition of A Dance with Dragons.
One paragraph? If only today had brought us news of the book’s actual release date. Here’s to hoping it comes very soon.
