Game of Thrones Season 4 premieres in London

Game of Thrones had its Season 4 Premiere celebration in London last night. London’s Guildhall was decked in an icy projection as the stars came out to promote the upcoming season. The red carpet hosted Sophie Turner, Rose Leslie, John Bradley, Iain Glen, Liam Cunningham, Daniel Portman, Tony Way, Gemma Whelan, Jacob Anderson, and Indira Varma.

The premiere also hosted the announcement of some big news. For the first time, the premiere episode of Game of Thrones will broadcast simultaneously in the US and the UK. HBO will air the first episode of Season 4 as scheduled on Sunday at 9PM EST, while Sky Atlantic will air the episode in the UK on Monday, at 2AM GMT.

Interviews from the event are already pouring in, as the cast reveal what they can about the upcoming season, and talk about the excitement surrounding Game of Thrones as it enters its fourth year.

ITN speaks with Tony Way on the return of Dontos, who unknowingly becomes an integral part of sending the story to new places. Jacob Anderson says that Grey Worm will begin to learn how to become a human being, and John Bradley says Sam will experience a roller coaster of emotions, from joy and exuberance to the depths of depression.
