Kit Harington graces the cover of TV Guide this week
Kit Harington has been on the cover of TV Guide before, but he’s always shared the moment with his co-stars from Game of Thrones. This year, however, the spotlight is all his.
In addition to Kit’s discussion in the magazine about Jon Snow’s developing leadership qualities this season, TV Guide provides a thorough catch-up guide focusing on the rival Stark and Lannister Houses, with spoilers about season 4.
According to Harington’s co-star and fellow Night’s Watchman, Mark Stanley (Grenn), “Jon has got a lot of responsibility to take. You’ll really see a unity among the Night’s Watchmen led by Jon Snow, and you’ll see us all come together.”
Isaac Hempstead-Wright offers up to TV Guide interesting info about his character’s story this year. “Bran’s [ability to warg] definitely reaches a climax. He’s really starting to use it and understand how useful it can be in the greater picture. Also, there’s this supernatural force that is pulling him to somewhere, and he doesn’t know what it is or where he’s going.”
The Lannister family in the south is tending to much less mystical issues. Cersei and Jaime’s incestuous reunion isn’t going as well as the Kingslayer had hoped, according to TV Guide, and Jaime is still trying to make up for the loss of his hand.
With Brienne of Tarth in King’s Landing and navigating unfamiliar situations, “I can guarantee you that this season she is truly tested in a variety of ways, and sometimes with comic consequences,” says Gwendoline Christie. “We see that raw underbelly exposed and attacked yet again.”
