Inside the Episode: Mockingbird
In this week’s Inside the Episode, David Benioff and Dan Weiss take us behind the scenes of “Mockingbird” to take a closer look at Dany taking charge of her own sexuality, and Jorah’s jealousy and anger as a result. They also discuss Oberyn’s tale of the “monster,” and Tyrion giving him the opportunity to get his vengeance. Littlefinger got what he’s wanted for a long time, and for the first time pushes Lysa off the edge instead of pulling her back from it.
George R.R. Martin digs deeper into the dymanic between Littlefinger and Sansa, which is sometimes paternal but turns into something completely different when she reminds him of a young Catelyn in the snow.
Emilia Clarke explains Daenerys’ attraction to Daario Naharis, and Iain Glenn and Michiel Huisman talk about the tension between their two characters vying for their Queen’s heart.
