Inside the Episode: The Children

In the last Inside the Episode of the year, David Benioff and Dan Weiss take us behind the scenes of “The Children” for a closer look at the respect that Stannis shows for Jon Snow and his father Eddard Stark, as well as Cersei’s power play. They also discuss Daenerys’ dragons becoming a liability, and Brienne’s inability to convince Arya that she is trustworthy. Tyrion’s impulsive tendencies lead him to seek revenge for the way his father has treated him, and on his way he discovers that his actions have turned Shae into exactly what she was running from.
