Game of Thrones cast members arrive in Belfast to film Season 5
We learned during the Game of Thrones panel at San Deigo Comic-Con this weekend that Kit Harington would return to the set of Game of Thrones today to film a “great scene” for Season 5. It seems Kit wasn’t the only one heading back to work today, as many of the actors took to social media to announce that they were en route to Belfast, or had already arrived.
Carice Van Houten gave us the biggest tease of the day, tweeting a picture of what appears to be a solider of Stannis Baratheon’s army on set, which may very well mean that Kit and Team Dragonstone shared their first day back together.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was also in Belfast today, and a very lucky fan from Northern Ireland got to meet the actor.
Sarah Hannah from Belfast tweeted that her long day at work today was made well worth it by a smile from the Queen Regent herself, Lena Headey.
But Lena Headey/Cersei smiled at me so not all bad.

And the cast may have celebrated their first day on set by going out for dinner together, as this fan claims he saw five cast members dining in the same restaurant as him.
Five of the Game of Thrones cast just walked into the restaurant we are at in Belfast. Geeking out.

Sophie Turner revealed in an interview with The Wrap on Saturday that she will begin filming for Season 5 in Belfast on Wednesday.
It looks like after a quiet first week of filming and a crazy weekend at Comic-Con, filming for Season 5 is now well underway!
