More cast members descend on Belfast to film Game of Thrones Season 5

Monday was the first day back at work for some of our Game of Thrones cast members, and over the past few days they’ve been joined by many of their counterparts! The cast have continued to announce their arrivals and share their excitement about being back to work on social media, and have been spotted around Belfast together.

Carice van Houten has proved again to be the best source if you want some peeks into production. She shared a picture of herself today sporting Melisandre’s lovely red locks, as well as the lacing up of some appropriately badass red boots today.

She’ll soon be joined by her co-star Liam Cunningham, who was en route from Dublin to Westeros early this morning.

Of course Team Dragonstone wouldn’t be complete without Shireen (and Stannis, but he is obviously too busy to tweet). Kerry Ingram has made her way to Belfast, and enjoyed some down time with Brenock O’Connor, who portrays Olly, and Aimee Richardson today.

Kristian Nairn shared a picture of himself, Daniel Portman, Sophie Turner, and Finn Jones hanging out together yesterday, and they look to be having a great time after being reunited!

John Bradley-West, Hannah Murray, and Kristofer Hivju have also arrived, and were seen out with their co-star Kit Harington last night.

It looks like nearly everyone at The Wall has reported for duty!

Update: A few more cast sightings from Belfast have popped up.

Gwendoline Christie and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau were spotted out together last night by Reddit user sylar46.

Chris Fearon, chef at Deanes restaurant in Belfast, had the pleasure of cooking for Ciaran Hinds last night.

And John Bradley-West posed with some fans at a local Nando’s today.
