Caught! Dany and Daario In Croatia

No it’s not anything hot and steamy like that. You wish, shippers!

But it is our first glimpse of Emilia Clarke in Croatia. (That’s her with her wig wrapped up nicely in blue cloth. Pay attention cosplayers, take wig advice from the pros.) We’ve also got a shot of her one time lover, Daario, played by Michiel Huisman. (Still played by Huisman. They haven’t switched back. Or forward. Or again.)

Our friends over at Total Split have been documenting the Game of Thrones filming set up for Meereen for a while now. But there was one thing they didn’t have any shots of–the stars. Today that has been rectified.

I love Daario’s outfit, don’t you? Last we checked, Dany had sent this bad boy away, somewhat on Ser Jorah’s suggestion. But with Jorah banned, there’s now room for Dario to return and slide on in to the recently vacated advisory role Jorah once filled, and most likely Dany’s bed as well. I don’t think anyone will consider it a spoiler that’s he’s going to be much, much better at one of these roles than the other.

The stars being out and about and ready to film coincides with all the rumors we’ve heard about major scenes being filmed this week, including an uprising after Dany has a slave put to death. This also jives with our earlier post that extra extras will be wanted tomorrow for filming. The only question is–will they film the scene here? Or is this going to be used for something else? Whatever it is, I’m pretty sure this set is going to be slave related.
