King’s Landing market and tavern scene filming in Dubrovnik

Dubrovniknet.hr has a great collection of photos of extras from today’s market scene. A few of the extras in the pictures are wearing Westerosi religious garb, which makes me reasonably certain that this is a scene in King’s Landing, as opposed to Braavos. The man in the suit is Goran Maras, the Croatian Minister Of Entrepreneurship And Crafts.

Meanwhile, our friends at Seek New Travel also have a new collection of pictures around today’s scene, including this shot of a watchful Gold Cloak.

I really like this shot of a set of tavern extras.

I was initially confused by the red and black cloaks people were wearing, but after seeing some of the same extras not wearing them in this photo, I’m reasonably certain their just being used for warmth as they wait.

Another good one, this time of a market stall being set up.

Seek New Travel also has this shot of the market scene being filmed, taken from above.

And a few shots of the props that are used to hide modern doors, which I think is pretty cool.

I think I recognize this alley from Season 1.

Finally, yesterday we mentioned that the Army Of The Faith was being filmed, with “brands” of the seven-pointed star in their foreheads. Dubrovniknet.hr got a clear shot of one of them, and it looks pretty cool.
