These Game of Thrones-inspired vintage art posters are incredible

As we begin 2015 and start anticipating Game of Thrones Season 5, news and rumors of casting and story-arcs will begin to swirl around the internet at a fevered pace. Wishing to set aside all those news and rumor pieces for a moment, I began to search the internet for cool and original Game of Thrones merchandise, and here’s what I found…

Teacup Piranha Prints, a store on Etsy, has some well done Game of Thrones art posters, that I would be proud to hang in my living room.

The first piece is a travel poster for King’s Landing, and almost makes me want to travel there just to get a peek at the Iron Throne. I especially like the “Sponsored by the First Men” line.

This next poster is for Winterfell, although it isn’t covered in the usual snow that accompanies just about every other artist rendering of the Stark ancestral home…and I’m okay with that.

The Wall is next, and this poster’s simplicity is what makes it so interesting. Castle Black, which is normally featured in most artistic renderings of The Wall, is nowhere to be seen. The Wall takes on its own personality as “the watcher of the walkers”.

The Eyrie is next, and show’s just how high up the high halls are. I like one of the taglines as being “View the cells in the sky”. No thanks, I’m good down here on solid ground.

Qarth rounds out the vintage travel posters from Teacup Piranha Prints, and is probably my least favorite from the collection. However, it’s still a good piece.

There are also some very nice Daenerys and Khal Drogo Typography Art Prints to be purchased, along with many of the  noble House’s sigils. Excuse me while I get my wallet.
