Kit Harington says Game of Thrones Season 5 is “definitely bigger”

Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington as Jon Snow

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington is currently making the rounds, doing interviews to promote his newest movie, Testament of Youth. In one such interview, with The Telegraph, the actor revealed just a small hint at what we can expect for Season 5.

Much has been made about Kit’s comments on the violence in Game of Thrones, but in this particular interview, he expounds on the scale of Season 5.

“The thing I noticed this year is that they threw so much money at it, the set pieces were so huge, and I think it’s going to be a pretty special season…There’s one scene for me which took a month to film. It wasn’t even the whole thing, it was one section. On scale, it’s definitely bigger. I don’t think we can get more gruesome or naked, but I mean, on scale it’s definitely bigger.”

When asked about the ending to it all, Game of Thrones as a whole, Kit had the usual Game of Thrones actor response, loaded and ready to go. Of course, he delivered the line with that smile that usually melts his fans in their seats.

“Yeah, three people. David, Dan, and George Martin. No I’m not, I can assure you that.”

Makes me wish I was a fly on the wall at that first meeting between George and the dynamic duo, Weiss and Benioff. Are you excited for Season 5, especially now that we know some of the sets are on a much grander scale? Let’s talk about it, in the comments below.
