Want to smell like the Mountain from Game of Thrones? Now you can!

Game of Thrones actor: Hafthor Julius Bjornsson for Gydja Collection’s Vatnajokull

Game of Thrones actor Hafthor Julius Bjornsson (Gregor Clegane, the Mountain that Rides), has a new gig as the face of Gydja Collection’s new fragrance, Vatnajokull. Market Wired picked-up the story from Ice News, who first reported the announcement  from the Icelandic fashion label.

Gydja Collection’s CEO and Head Designer, Sigrun Lilja Gudjonsdottir had this to say:

“We’re ecstatic to have Hafþór on board as the new figure of Vatnajokull, as he embodies the key principles of the fragrance: Strength, Power and Masculinity.”

If you are looking for someone to embody Strength, Power and Masculinity, then Hafthor is definitely your man. The Game of Thrones actor is a four-time winner of Iceland’s Strongest Man competition, and recently finished second in the World’s Strongest Man competition, in 2014.

Lilja went on to explain that the concept behind Vatnajokull, was to unleash the inner-fire of the wearer, to represent prowess and courage.

Vatnajokull is produced in Grasse, Southern France, a village known for producing some of the highest quality perfumes on the market, which is a pretty impressive claim. Gydja’s new fragrance is made using glacial water from Vatnajökull (Iceland’s largest glacier), and every bottle comes with a piece of lava from the volcano beneath the glacier’s ice cap.

You can find the fragrance on the Gydja website. So, if you want to smell like The Mountain, then I suggest you break out the credit card, as a 50ml bottle will cost you around $76.

I gotta admit, using glacier water to make this particular fragrance, is by far a much better thing than what I originally imagined. Eau de Qyburn, anyone?
