Some instant reactions: this makes the grand battle scenes, particularly the Wildling fight, seem a lot more impressive. You can also get a much clearer glimpse of characters that I hadn’t seen much before, like Theon Greyjoy. I wish we’d gotten this before the low-quality YouTube uploads, but I can understand why HBO gave their IMAX partners a day or so.
HBO also sent a bunch of press stills for the series–you can see Margaery and Cersei (and Margaery’s handmaidens, finally!) above. I’ll upload those as soon as I get them into our system.
