A Day in the Life live-blog
Game of Thrones: A Day in the Life starts on HBO in roughly 30 minutes. That’s 6:30pm CST. We here at WiCnet are going to be keeping a live-blog just so we can bring all the cool bits of info for those of you unable to get to your television/computer/tablet.

In January we brought you the details of the A Day in the Life special, which will follow crew members, and will highlight the epic sets, renowned cast and global scale of Game of Thrones.
Thanks to the Making Game of Thrones Blog, we know what to expect from tonight’s special:
1. The Water Gardens of Dorne
Prince Oberyn Martell mentioned to Cersei that her daughter Myrcella enjoyed the Water Gardens. Now, the Dornish setting makes its on-camera debut in Season 5. The real-life location attracts an average of 8,000 tourists each day.
2. A New Character in Action
See Jonathan Pryce, aka the High Sparrow, play against Lena Headey’s Cersei Lannister.
3. A New Northern Outpost
Go inside the creation of a fishing village north of the Wall.
Sounds very exciting, and I am ready for the show to start! I am especially looking forward to seeing Jonathan Pryce as the High Sparrow.
Just uploaded from the Game of Thrones official Twitter account:

Cersei does NOT look happy in that shot! Of course, when does Cersei ever really look happy. Show starts in 20 minutes. What are you most happy to see? You can tweet us at @WiCnet and use the hashtag #GoTDayintheLife
Loving the look on Cersei’s face! #GoTDayintheLife @GameOfThrones http://t.co/S1JKZ9Yu8e — Winter is Coming (@WiCnet) February 9, 2015

Not much longer! OH! They are showing the official Season 5 trailer, now. I love the song, excellent choice in my opinion. And here we go, it’s showtime!
6am in Croatia, 6:30am in Belfast, 8:30am in Spain.
Dubrovnik filming, offers logistical problems for the cast and crew because of the tightly packed city. Cars aren’t allowed in the city, so all the equipment has to be manually Sherpa’d in. The cast is showing up, Jonathan Pryce and Lena Heady for rehearsal.
Belfast filming: Emilia Clarke discussing scenes for episode 1.
Back to Dubrovnik. They are talking about the Cordova bridge and the possibility of a drone flyover. Daznak and Hardhome were just mentioned!
Spain, the Water Gardens of Dorne! The set is going to be absolutely beautiful. There is challenges with getting equipment to the upstairs of the palace.

Back to Belfast. Heading to a quarry where Castle Black was built for filming in Season 1. We are looking at a fishing village. Confirmed, Hardhome.
Back to Dubrovnik for the loads of extras. Extras being selected for the scene. Producers looking for “poor looking” actors. Game of Thrones received more that 86,000 applications to be extras on the show…WOW!
@WiCnet @GameOfThrones what R the chances GRRM needs 1more book between TWOW & ADOS or after? Seems there’s so much 2 cover #GoTDayintheLife

Lena Heady and Jonathan Pryce are about to face off in what they are calling the “Soup kitchen scene”. Cersei will be shocked at the level of poverty and filth that she has chosen to ignore.
Scene: Cersei looking for the High Sparrow. She has to wade through the hungry, the sick and the filth.
Back to Belfast and Dany’s scenes. Actors having to speak Valyrian seems to be a challenge.
Spain, and the Bullring which will be Daznak’s Pit! The crew is transforming the bullring for 12 days in order to capture one scene!
Dubrovnik and Belfast are wrapped and now they are heading to Spain. Cast and crew arrive in Spain. The Water Gardens are shown. They are of course amazing.
This Season of Game of Thrones has shot in 5 countries, 151 sets, shot for 240 days, has 166 cast members, over 1,000 crew members, and 5,000 extras.
