Game of Thrones’ cast talks about the show’s past, future, and spoilers
With the world premiere of Season 5 announced, and the Season 4 DVD push in full swing, the cast of Game of Thrones is kicking their promotional appearances into high gear. Over at IGN, they’ve run a couple of videos of the cast looking back at the previous show installments and ask them who they’re missing the most from Seasons 1-4. In the second video, they ask them to look ahead to Season 5, as the show leaves the books behind and strikes out on it’s own into spoiler free territory. The cast interviewed are Sophie Turner, Alfie Allen, Liam Cunningham, Catrice Van Houten, and Nathalie Emmanuel.
As a bonus, we also have a video of how our cast feels about those who share spoilers across time zones, and before the show airs on SkyTV, which is on a 24 hour delay from the US airings on HBO.
Check out everything the cast had to say, below!
On those they’ve left behind:
I’m amused that both Tywin and Joffrey get votes. (Carice calls the latter “Scary Kid,” which I’ll bet is how many fans think of him.) John Bradley’s reasoning behind missing Robb Stark is touching: “…he’s fighting to avenge wrong-doing. He just wants to get his family back, he doesn’t want to be dictated to or fit into that political system. He just wants to be with the woman he loves.”
On what lies ahead:
Carice puts it well: “It’s nice to know that now everyone is on the same page. Nobody knows anymore. Like before in the make-up trailer, people would know a little bit more than we did… there were people who knew where it was going. Now everyone is on the same page.”

Liam is hilarious about the audience at home watching on their couches: “Holding their blankets up and screaming at the television and crying…that’s great drama!” But nothing beats him being thankful that after mentioning unleashing shadow babies on Internet trolls, Carice says she might pull something else out of her….sleeve.
