Maisie Williams twitches, Jason Momoa talks to fishes in new films
Higher and higher rise the profiles of the Game of Thrones cast, and today brought us two new film projects featuring actors who portray fan-favorite characters in the show.
First up: fresh from tackling the issue of cyberbullying on Channel 4 in the UK, Maisie Williams will soon be appearing in The Falling, a psychological drama by English filmmaker Carol Morley. The film is set in 1969 at an all-girl’s boarding school and is centered around Maisie’s character Lydia as she tries to convince the school’s administration to deal with a fainting and twitching spell that quickly spreads throughout the campus.

The Falling premiered at the BFI London Film Festival in October of last year (alongside Testament of Youth, starring Maisie’s Thrones co-star Kit Harington); Metrodome will be distributing the film in the UK, slating it for April 2015.
While Arya’s off at boarding school, Khal Drogo will soon command the seven seas. Zak Snyder, director of Man of Steel and the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, tweeted a photo of Jason Momoa in costume as Aquaman, the king of Atlantis and ruler of the seven seas. Variety, at least, suggests that that’s what the poster (adorned with the phrase “UNITE THE SEVEN”) refers to, but I could also see an argument for “the Seven” referring to the seven members of the Justice League of America. Aquaman was a founding member, after all, and the Justice League will be hitting theaters in a few years, if all goes according to plan for DC Comics and Warner Bros.
Momoa is also slated to appear in a solo Aquaman to arrive in 2018, by which time the character may or may not have figured out how to make the sun rise in the west and set in the east.
