Season 4’s “Final Reward”: A new hilarious blooper reel

Is there anything better than watching actors make mistakes in the middle of deep serious drama, or a heavy blood and gore fight moment, and suddenly your prop sword breaks? I think not!

Especially when you’re in a dark and brooding shot, and all you can do is give in to a case of the giggles. Or worse, you can’t remember your line. There’s a lot of that in this set of outtakes. Conleth Hill calling for line in character as Varys is probably my favorite from the set. I also like everyone slipping down the steps in the on location shots. And Tywin’s stone face as Pedro has a total coughing fit is hilarious.

For the record, this is *not* the blooper reel in the DVD box set. We posted that one a few months back. This is new one, released in conjunction with the Season 4 Game of Thrones Exhibition.

Perhaps that’s why Ser Pounce will not be returning for Season 5? Directors never like a diva actor who storms off set with a haughty meow.
