New Game of Thrones Season 5 photos surface

Four new Game of Thrones Season 5 photos have surfaced, today, featuring Sansa, Arya, Margaery, and Cersei. The photos come via Jon Snow on Twitter, and shows Margaery Tyrell winning the day, wearing a bodice with  gold embroidery on black silk, at what appears to be Tywin Lannister’s funeral procession.

The above photos are of Sansa, Little Finger and Yohn Royce at what looks like a tourney. This could be happening in the Vale, or possibly a celebration tourney at Winterfell, hosted by the Boltons. It looks a little too sunny and green for Winterfell, though.

First we have Sansa, in her new “Dark Sansa” look. I feel like she will wear nothing but black, this season. She is clearly dressed for the cold weather of the North, and since we know that she is headed back home to Winterfell, I would assume that is wear she is, in this photo.

Next we have Arya. This is her, filthy and unwashed, before she is accepted into the House of Black and White. It’s amazing to see the transformation from this little gutter-rat look, to the beautiful young Braavosi woman look.

Here we have Cersei. We’ve seen photos similar to this, however, it looks like she is trying to hold in a laugh, here. This is one of those rare moments we see Cersei smile. Don’t get used to it, because I highly doubt she will have anything to smile about, this season.

And finally, we have Margaery Tyrell. The golden embroidery on her bodice is gorgeous. She and her ladies in waiting appear to be attending the funeral procession for Lord Tywin. Notice her serious demeanor and the black of the rest of her dress.

Look for more and more of these photos from Game of Thrones Season 5, the closer we get to April 12th.
