Meanwhile, In Osuna…

CORRECTION: A previous version of this story indicated that Canal+ does not air Game of Thrones. It does. Sorry for the confusion.

Game of Thrones has made a big deal about their journey to film in Spain this year, for both the Dornish scenes and for filming a new part of Meereen. They features both of the Spanish locations in the A Day In The Life special, even though they were still in the planning stages. The calls for extras brought out thousands, cast hundreds and did big numbers for the local economy. Spain has made it clear if the show wishes to return for Season 6, the towns of Seville and Osuna would be all too happy to host them again.

But something strange is happening in Osuna, the City that hosted all those Meereenese scenes in Danzik’s Pit… Check it out below.

Canal+, for those who are unfamiliar, is the premium France based channel. Though it does not air Game of Thrones (err, “Juego de Tronos“), it was the go to source during the filming production both for exclusive cast photos and video of the Dornish contingent during their last days of filming. This video is actually a conglomerate of a bunch of 15 second spots that have been running to promote the Season 5 return, all based in the city that hosted the show. I know the video is in Spanish with no translation, but it is a nice and cute way to honor Osuna’s contribution to the production.

Also, no one ever talks about the reality of flying dragon poop. It’s a major problem when your Queen of Meereen hasn’t housebroken her beloved pets.
