Harry Lloyd, Maisie Williams, and George R.R. Martin star in “Supreme Tweeter”
Harry Lloyd hasn’t been on Game of Thrones since Season 1, when his character, Viserys Targaryen, received a golden crown from Aquaman Khal Drogo. The actor has kept busy since then, with roles in movies like The Theory of Everything and an upcoming part in the BBC Two’s Wolf Hall.
Of late, he’s also been poking fun merciless fun at himself with a 3-part series of short films titled Supreme Tweeter.

Supreme Tweeter tells the story of what happens when a struggling actor (Lloyd, playing a deeply unflattering version of himself) takes to Twitter to improve his career outlook only to find himself followed by Kim Jong-un, the “Supreme Leader” of North Korea. According to the press junket, the series is a “surreal modern allegory about seeking fame in the modern world and the extraordinary lengths people go to get it.” It also happens to be a genuinely clever and funny bunch series that feature cameos from some major Game of Thrones notables. Before you compare this to Seth Rogan and James Franco’s The Interview, really take the time to watch each episode. Lloyd delightfully portrays a fictionalized version of himself, which is to say that he plays a highly neurotic, entitled actor. However, what really makes these shorts stand out are the cameos.
