Hilarity Roundup: Too Many Kings and Too Much Baldness

The weekend is nearly here, and to make the last few hours of work go by a little more pleasantly, we’ve rounded up a few of the funniest Game of Thrones videos and games from around the web for your viewing pleasure. This installment includes a reminder of just how much the show has prettied up the Wolrd of Westeros, a segment on Bedding and Beheading, plus Too Many Cooks stirring up the Iron Throne.

Let’s star with the most dramatic: Buzzfeed has done a deep dive into the novels to remember what the characters really look like according to the text, as opposed to how they look in the show. Somehow we all forgot how much balder, uglier and sillier they looked.

Show Daario (version 2!) vs Book Daario. I’m not hating the bright yellowy-gold armor, but mixed with the blue beard and just-for-men mustache? Dany would really think twice about this.

Did you know that Tyrion was supposed to lose his entire nose in the Battle of the Blackwater? Did you need to know that? Well, congrats, you do now. Personally, I’m glad they didn’t do this is Dinklage, mostly because I’d never notice anything he said. I’d be too busy staring.

To check out the rest—including looks at how bald Tywin and Jorah are supposed to be—head over to Buzzfeed. Make sure you vote on which versions are better! (And thanks to Razor for the side-by-sides!)

Over at Flicks and the City, the interviewers engage cast members in their own version of Knight Marry Kill—Bed Hug or Behead? (Sorry, folks. This video’s gotta be rated G.)

And finally, this mash-up of the Adult Swim internet sensation Too Many Cooks with Game of Thrones, known as Too Many Kings, works frighteningly well. Yes, it is really 11 minutes long. Trust us, it’s *worth* it.

Warning with this onewhoever made it is caught up with the show, so there are  Season 5 spoilers in it. JSYK.
