The Mountain Competing For World’s Strongest Man

While The Mountain rests in Westeros, the current actor who plays the role, Hafthor Björnsson, is completing for the title of World’s Strongest Man 2015 in Malaysia. Our world’s Strongest Man, that is, not The Strongest Man in Westeros. He might have held that title in Westeros once—most people wouldn’t be dumb enough to compete against him to see, so it would have been his by default (The two sweetest worlds in the English Language!). But once The Red Viper and his poison-tipped spear got through with him, The Mountain became like so many dormant volcanos, lying still, under a white sheet (of snow or linen), letting out the occasional rumble before settling back down again.

Well, at least he’s in Westeros. Here on Earth, he’s actually got to fight for the title (Last year he only came in second, though he did win Strongest Viking). To that end, he’s off tossing Norse Hammers.

I’m sure Cersei would be highly impressed with these abilities, although Qyburn might worry he’s overdoing it, considering his current condition. Personally, I’m glad to see him keeping in shape, since rumor has it, he might be facing a Clegane-experienced fighter later this season.
