WiC’s third column for Metro focuses on “High Sparrow” and the Stark sisters

Another week, another Winter Is Coming column appearing in Metro, a major daily newspaper that may very well be available in the city where you live. This week, we write about “High Sparrow,”  focusing on the Stark sisters as they struggle to redefine their identities in the wake of traumatic events. Sansa narrowly avoided marrying Joffrey Baratheon only to be engaged to Ramsay Snow, while Arya  made a clean break with all the horrors she suffered in Westeros by traveling clear across the Narrow Sea. Each of them is changing out of necessity, Arya to gain admittance to the order of Faceless Men and Sansa so she can survive her new engagement. But they’ll always be Starks, and they’re bound by their thirst for vengeance.

Check back for more Metro columns as the season goes on. Will the columns be such a smashing success that WiC will be invited to take over the entire paper for a very special issue? Of course not, that’s silly. But the columns are still delightful on their own.
