Season 5: “The Sons of the Harpy” Trailer

With the end of every episode comes the “Next Time” trailer. As always, we take a take a look at the new footage released and break it down. Today we look at the trailer for “The Sons of the Harpy.”

Note that unlike last week’s trailer for “High Sparrow,” which kept the actual High Sparrow character under wraps, the first thing we see this week are the titular Sons.

• All Men Must Die, whether they are Unsullied armed in the streets, or wearing Harpy masks performing gorilla-style urban warfare.
• That second shot looks to be inside Dany’s pyramid. (The harpies are coming from inside the house!)
• Finally—SAND SNAKES. Ellaria is telling them to choose between her way and Doran’s way.
• We see someone in Dornish clothing attacking on horseback, and we see a Sand Snake attacking, but it’s not clear if they’re attacking each other, or if this is clever editing.
• With Cersei’s blessing last week, it looks like the Sparrows are getting bolder, and attacking a marketplace. Tommen looks to be getting caught in the middle of it
• Ah, Cersei’s plan is in motion—to go to her new best friend the priest and accuse someone of sin with the goal of having that someone removed.
• Jaime and Bronn vs a Dornish fighter
• Unsullied vs Harpies.
• All in all, there looks like a lot of fighting and chaos next week…
