Take the Black podcast—"High Sparrow"

This week on Take the Black, Isis, Luke, and I discuss Episode 503 of Game of Thrones, “High Sparrow.” So much happened in Episode 3 that Luke literally couldn’t even. His quivering excitement over Brienne and Pod is palpable and can be felt radiating through your speakers. In the meantime, Isis is extremely disappointed that she didn’t get full frontal nudity from the High Septon, even though we got all kinds of full frontal from the whores in Lord Baelish’s brothel. Also, much like that scene, this week’s Take the Black is a little NSFW. Please excuse our occasional slap-happiness. This episode gets a bit weird…

This week’s substantial topics include Sansa back in Winterfell and “The North Remembers”; the fact that Jon didn’t say “Edd, fetch me a block,” but Stannnis did rock the nod; which queen Ser Friend-Zone is taking Tyrion to; and when it’s appropriate to drop the C-word. We also talk about that flopping monstrosity under the sheet in Qyburn’s lab…oh, and one more thing, I introduce Isis and Luke to CLEGANEBOWL GET HYPE.

As always, Take the Black is an Unsullied-friendly podcast. Luke and Isis have not read the books, as is evidenced by their cute theories about what’s going to happen (don’t laugh, they’re really trying and I adore them for it). Even though I have read A Song of Ice and Fire several times, I refuse to spoil anything, despite being sorely tempted by my two Unsullied co-hosts.
