High Sparrow: Twitter reaction recap
If we’re talking about Game of Thrones—because when are we not?—we must never forget Twitter. The North Remembers to take vengeance, Twitter remembers to snark hard. Here are the best tweets from last Sunday’s episode of Game of Thrones, “High Sparrow.”
And their snarking starts out with a very important point on everyone’s mind on Sunday night…
Look guys, I don’t know about the rest of you, but as a book reader, I’m like Cersei. I still think of Tommen as a seven-year-old monarch, whose favorite part of laws and decrees is stamping them. Seeing him in bed with an adult women was ewwww-tastic.
On the other hand, if my husband offered to have cake brought to me after sex, I’d be delighted. But considering the age difference in the scene in question, it makes sense it might put some folks off.
If RHOBH had nearly as much underhanded schadenfreudenal shade as that exchange between Cersei and Margaery did on RHOKL, I’d watch that show regularly.
Lord, WASN’T ONE MONSTER ENOUGH?
One of the best interpolations of characters played by an actor on Game of Thrones in ages.
The clapback was more clapneck in this case.
“We make sacred pact. I promise teach death to you, you promise learn. I say, you do. No questions.”
Keeping on the DL is not a skill Tywin Lannister imparted to his son.
Awww, no dude! Put him down!…
….hey wait, does Tyrion have his Twitter locations activated? Because then Varys could at least follow.
And finally…
It’s true. A girl could always use a needle.
