Game of Thrones Episode 504 Preview—Sons of the Harpy
We’re approaching the midway point of the season. Game of Thrones, like childhood, passes so fast. Here’s what we can expect from “Sons of the Harpy,” Sunday’s new episode, according to HBO: “The Faith Militant grow increasingly aggressive. Jaime and Bronn head south. Ellaria and the Sand Snakes vow vengeance.”
It’s interesting that the Sand Snakes, who have been teased for quite a while, are only now making their first appearance. Let’s hope they live up to hype. The trailer for “Sons of the Harpy,” embedded below, also indicates that we’ll be spending time in Meereen and King’s Landing, where there’s unrest all around.
There looks to be a lot of action in this episode, what with Jaime fighting what I only assume to be an angry Dornishman, the Sparrow clubbing someone, and of course the Sons of the Harpy massing for some guerrilla warfare.
Here’s where, when, and how to watch the episode.
- Start Time: May 3, 2015, 8pm CST
- TV Info: HBO
- Episode: Season 5, Episode 4, “Sons of the Harpy”
- Live Stream: Stream 1 – Stream 2
Incidentally, the episode will be directed by Mark Mylod, who also helmed “High Sparrow,” and written by Dave Hill, a former assistant to David Benioff and Dan Weiss who reportedly earned his writing spurs after suggesting a further use for Olly, the kid who killed Ygritte last season. This will be his first time writing a Game of Thrones script.
As always, we’ll be on the scene with recaps an analysis after the episode airs. The book-readers recap will go up very quickly, with the Unsullied recap following afterward. Unfortunately, this is the last episode for which HBO gave out screeners, so after this, the book-reader recap will come out a little more slowly. Just another reason
