Season 5 Soundtrack Now Available for Preorder

The soundtrack for this season of Game of Thrones is officially up at Amazon for pre-order. Like the past two seasons, the soundtrack was composed by Ramin Djawadi, and is being released by WaterTower records. The release date for the album (both digital and hard copy) is June 17th, the Tuesday after the season ends.

The Season 5 soundtrack will be dropping a little earlier than it did last year—the Season 4 soundtrack wasn’t available until July 1st. In earlier seasons, the digital copy would arrive before the hard copy, but with music companies moving away from that, it’s not surprising that they’re being released at the same time.

There’s no track listing as of yet (I assume due to the potential spoilery nature that some of the later titles might have?) Once the titles and audio clips drop, we’ll feature them.
