Game of Thrones Episode 506—Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken—Free Chat

Tonight, Game of Thrones returns to Dorne in “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken,” an episode expected to prominently feature the Sand Snakes. Although the sisters received a tepid reception following their first appearance in “Sons of the Harpy,” the additional screentime will hopefully set things right. They’ll also have Game of Thrones mainstay Bryan Cogman writing for them, which can only bode well.

Elsewhere, Cersei’s plot heats up as both Olenna Tyrell and Littlefinger return to King’s Landing, and Arya makes some steps in her training to become a Faceless Man. We haven’t heard from Arya in two weeks, so it’ll be nice to see if she’s ready to start killing people on a professional level yet.

I can’t help but notice that Daenerys, Jon, and Stannis are neither mentioned in the description nor spotted in the trailer. Perhaps they’re taking the week off. We will be visiting Winterfell, though, where Sansa may be tying the knot again, this time to Ramsay Bolton. I’ll be on the edge of my seat waiting for the allegedly horrifying scene between Sansa, Ramsay, and Theon that’s been teased for a while.

Assuming we get through that, we’ll be back after the episode airs with separate recaps and reviews geared toward both book-readers and the Unsullied. Until then, feel free to talk among yourselves about the continuing adventures of Jorah and Tyrion, how the Dornish plots are shaping up, why Bryan Cogman doesn’t write more episodes, and anything else you can think of.
