Winter is Coming Live—Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken

It’s time for another edition of WiC Live, where hosts Adam Rady, Alison Haislip, and Xavier Brinkman talk all things Game of Thrones. This week, the panel takes a close look at “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken,” last night’s controversial episode.

As always, we’ve embedded particularly interesting stretches of the episode below, to be viewed whenever you get a minute. First, the team dives into the most inflammatory aspect from “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken”—Sansa’s wedding night. A lot of fans seem to be feeling a little worn down after watching it, and the panel is no exception.

The Sansa talk continues. The panel engages in a little denial by imagining how they would have liked the episode to end, something I’m sure a lot of us have already thought about.

Next, the team answers a question from a fan concerning whether Dorne has lived up to the hype the production has created around it. I think the long pause between Adam asking the question and Alison’s answer says it all.

Things lighten up when Adam, Alison, and Xavier talk about the comedy MVP from “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken.” There were funny moments from the episode, just in case you had to be reminded after the final scene.

Lastly, the team answers the question everyone is asking: if you could take a page from Arya’s book and wear any character’s face, whose would it be and why? It’s the darkest twist possible on, ‘If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?’

Until next time, this has been WiC Live! Thanks to Entertainment Weekly for sponsoring the show, thanks for watching, and thanks to everyone who submitted questions for the panel to answer. Keep the queries coming by tweeting them to #WiC.
