Game of Thrones Mockumentary Airing on “Red Nose Day” Tonight

Whether or not NBC will succeed with their plan to make “Red Nose Day” a thing on this side of the pond is a matter for other websites to debate and decide. Here at WIC, what we care about is that our beloved Game of Thrones cast members will be making an appearance. Yesterday, we posted Peter Dinkalge’s clip from the Coldplay-penned “Game of Thrones: The Musical,” which will be part of the three-hour telecast (Suddenly, the fact that Coldplay copyrighted a bunch of Game of Thrones-inspired titles recently makes a whole lot more sense).

But NBC wasn’t done. A second clip has emerged, and this one features a different member of the Lannister clan.

The full on mockumentary will apparently play at some point during the telecast. Some of the promised actors who will appear in it are Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Iwan Rheon, Alfie Allen, John Bradley, and Charlotte Hope—as well as a few who have already departed from the show, like Mark Addy, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and Rose Leslie. If the copyrighted songs are any indication, we can look forward to such numbers as “Rastafarian Targaryen,” “Red Wedding,” and “I’m a Real Bastard.”

Here’s hoping the whole piece is as good as these two segments. It could be an epic moment.
