Inside the Episode: Hardhome
Are you done watching the battle of Hardhome obsessively yet? Because it’s time for our weekly deep dive into this week’s episode. One might assume that this would be all battle all the time, but not so. This is partly because we’ve only got two deep dive videos this week, one from the producers and one from the actors. George R.R. Martin is sitting this week out (or perhaps his take will be uploaded later in the week—we’ll have to see.)
Benioff and Weiss start this week with the only person who got any good news of any sort—Sansa. They then discuss that awesome Dany and Tyrion scene, before getting to what we really want to hear about: Hardhome.
Our actor deep dive this week is with Emilia Clarke and Iain Glen, who discuss Dany’s choice to re-banish Jorah upon his return.
Finally, this week’s clip is the fantastic battle of wits between Tyrion and Dany. I think I’ll watch just to see her take that wine glass away from him over and over again.
