Take the Black Podcast - Episode 508 - Hardhome

This week on Take the Black, Isis, Luke and myself talk about “Hardhome,” the latest amazing episode of Game of Thrones. As much as I wanted to go straight to the final scenes at Hardhome, Isis reigns me in and we discuss the rest of the episode, including Tyrion and Dany’s interaction. Luke was especially happy that Cersei had to lick water off the dirty dungeon floor, and Isis is over the moon that Septa Unella went full Catholic School Nun on Cersei with that ladle.

Other topics include Sansa’s glimmer of hope, and just how large Ramsay’s metaphorical balls are that he would take a mere 20 men to attack the Mannis that is Stannis. Also on the docket is Ser Jorah being permanently banished into the lonely abyss of the Lands of Always Friendzone, and how it was kind of a dick move on Tyrion’s part to help put him there.

As always, Take the Black is an Unsullied-friendly podcast. Luke and Isis have not read the books, as is evidenced by their adorable theories about what’s going to happen. Even though I’ve have read A Song of Ice and Fire, I refuse to spoil anything, although I do compare some situations in the show to the books. This episode does contain some F-bombs when we describe out reactions to the Night’s King, so consider this your NSFW warning.
