13. Sansa’s Premiere Outfit

It was everything fans were expecting when we finally saw Sansa again. The last time we’d seen her was episode 8 or Season 4 as she walked down the stairs in a stunning raven-feathered gown, asking “Shall we go?” Go where? Well, it turns out the destination was less than ideal, and the decisions Sansa made when she got there were less than stellar. But in the premiere episode of the season, “The Wars To Come,” Sansa still looked every inch the Northern daughter of a Stark, with a high-collar fur-trimmed cloak and black embossed brocade gown. Even her gloves and hair are darkened, as befitting a woman who is finally able to mourn her family, while breaking with the little girl who spent season upon season in pastels in King’s Landing.
